A New World
I have been busy creating an entirely new world. It's a project I've been finagling for almost a year. Only my closest friend and beta knew about it. I am more excited than words can express to give birth to this place with mythical creature, new romances, and spirituality embraced by it's inhabitants. It's that last bit that has kept me so frightened of publishing this work. The reason I write isn't all about making money. I want to give people something that helps them forget their world for a time and live in a place with a happy ending. This world has that and a little more. This world has characters living in a church. A CHURCH!?
You might be thinking I'm crazy given what I write, but I'm not. I've been thinking on this for a while. I don't hide my religious beliefs so why should my characters? I've been told by atheists, Muslims, Pagans, and Wiccans that for a Christian, I am really easy to get along with. If I can hang in a diverse world and not hide my convictions, my characters can as well. Here's to a new world complete with spirituality.
Let the adventures begin!
Another one done!
It's exciting to say that "Push and Pull" is finished! Now to edit and send to the beta readers and edit some more. Fingers crossed that it gets picked up for publication.
The ball is in my court...
All my completed works have been sent off to the publisher. They have edited and edited again. Covers have been made and dates have been set. Nothing is left to do except sit and wait for Release Day. That means it is now up to me to sit my butt in the chair (or in my bed) and type out some new stories. Since it's NaNoWriMo, I have signed up and am typing away with several peers trying for the 50k mark. It will mean two novellas must be created. I am 29K into one and 15K into the other, both for the Supernatural Royalty Series. Books 3 and 4 for Strays series are also in the works at about 10K each.
